Human beings are constantly leaving things unfinished. We start a project with great enthusiasm, but ultimately grow bored/tired of working on it or become too busy to finish it. Anyone you talk to could probably list off a few projects that are still “pending.” Eventually, these well-intended projects sink into the unreachable depths of our minds and disappear from the workstation shelves.
Unlike humans, God finishes His work. He is faithful in His promises, and never forgets. Sometimes, it may seem as if God forgot to finish something He started in our lives. Maybe you were seeing His hand move significantly in areas of your life, then that movement seemingly came to a halt. However, God is omniscient- He didn’t forget about you! He has perfect plans for your life, and they may include postponing His work or changing it to better suit your needs.
Whatever the situation is, we should be thankful that God always completes His work so we don’t have to worry.
